Im April 2024 heisst es «Unterhosen runter!» Du vergräbst am Wochenende vom 20. und 21. April ein Paar Unterhosen aus Baumwolle. Wenn du sie einige Wochen später wieder aus dem Boden holst, siehst du, wie munter die Lebewesen im Boden gewesen sind. Je gesünder der Boden, desto gefrässiger die Bodenorganismen und umso weniger bleibt übrig von dem guten Stück*.
*Dies gilt vor allem für Gartenböden und landwirtschaftlich genutzte Böden. Im Wald weist ein schwacher Abbau der Unterhose nicht in jedem Fall auf einen ungesunden Boden hin.
Böden versorgen uns mit Nahrung, sauberem Wasser, schaffen ein angenehmes Klima und tragen wesentlich zur biologischen Vielfalt bei. Damit diese Leistungen erhalten bleiben, müssen die Böden besser bekannt sein. Denn wer seinen Boden kennt, weiss, wie er ihn erhalten und vor schädlichen Einwirkungen schützen kann.
Alle, die mitmachen und sich registrieren, nehmen ausserdem automatisch teil an der Verlosung von 10 Bodenanalysen des Labor Ins und weiteren Preisen.
Für die Mitmachaktion 2024 brauchst du eine Baumwoll-Unterhose, eine Schaufel und einen Flecken Boden.
